Ouch....and they're scheduled to play again tomorrow at 1:00 local time. That's gonna be rough...especially on the pitchers.

I had the pleasure of hanging out on this board when Army and Boston College went 25 innings at the 2009 Austin Regional.

Some very funny commentary in that thread...

1/10 guy is up. But at least he made his hit count. He has both RBIs

This game started at 4:05 PM PT. The new pitch clock has really shortened up these games.

Clutch hit there. You hate to lose a 22 inning game

This is random but interesting.. and I didn't think it needed another thread but

Georgia Tech beat Miami 12-3 in 10 innings today. Georgia Tech scored 9 runs in the 10th. That's pretty crazy.

It looks like Miami's closer pitched the 9th and they sent him back out for the 10th. Then Georgia Tech rocked him for 4 runs and Miami went into semi-mop up time.

that's a pretty bad case of shitting the bed by their pitching staff.

Fullerton pitcher Tyler Pill took a perfect game into the bottom of the 7th in a game that was scheduled to go 7. Lost perfect game, no hitter and shutout.'

Titans win 4-2 2x to take the series with 1 more to go in the AM.
