Probably reason 1a on why nobody is willing to associate themselves with Kaepernick right now. And is probably the main reason why he is so big on social injustice.

Pretty crazy how Kaep has been able to spin this to his favor in the eyes of the majority of blacks. Before last year he wasn't widely respected and Lewis was on the Mt Rushmore of many. Nobody doubted Lewis' authenticity. Now Kaep is regarded as a revolutionary figure and Lewis is an Uncle Tom? People believe what they want to believe.

Does he even want a job in the NFL? Personally I think people are making way too big a deal about him kneeling for the anthem, but it almost seems like he doesn't want a job he just wants to be in the news. If he truly wants a job he should tell his ole lady to STFU.

Kaep still doens't have a job and the majority agree with that, it's not like the masses are up in arms about him still being unemployed.
Also, last year everyone thought Ray Lewis was a great football player and horrible with giving opinions. That hasn't changed one bit.
