I don't know how Michigan drops 3 spots, yet Michigan State remains in the top 4 despite winning on the flukiest play in years?

I keep thinking the number of unbeatens will go down, but there are A LOT of unbeatens left.

at Michigan State not dropping.

I love how everyone gives lip service to play tough teams, but don't reward teams for wins over top 10 opponents.

If I was a pollster, I would not be crediting Michigan State with a win. I would look at it the same as if they lost.

The only reason they won was because of the flukiest of plays at the very end of the game.

Play that same situation 1 million times, and they lose that game 999,999 times.

Still relatively early. And a lot of unbeatens have to lose.

tOSU, Michigan State, Iowa - 2 of 3 have to lose at some point.

Baylor/TCU/Okie Lite - 2 have to lose

Florida State/Clem's Son - One has to lose

Temple/Memphis/Houston - 2 have to lose

And its not just that game, its how theyve looked in other games as well. They shouldve dropped behind LSU, CLemson, and Utah

I think the overall bottom line is that Michigan has 2 losses and is basically eliminated from the playoffs. Michigan State wins out and they're there

Just curious, who is a better one-loss team than Alabama?

Well yeah.

I was a little pissed Notre Dame jumped us after we lose in Death Valley by a TD and they give up over 576 yards in South Bend to USC

If we take a step back and say one team beat a top 15 team on the road and another beat a top 10 team at home those are a wash to me. I think LSU is better but that is how I would look at game results

The Mich/MSU game was a game with two good football teams

I count Michigan state beating Michigan as 2 losses for MSU. 1 loss for having to make an incredible fluke play to win the game and th other for almost losing to a B1g team. Shouldn't be top 20 after that win (really loss-loss) in Ann Arbor yesterday

Sarcasm

I agree with Utah dropping. Personally, I think Clemson should be ranked ahead of Michigan State.

1. Baylor
2. LSU
3. Clemson
4. TCU
5. Ohio State
6. Alabama
7. Utah
8. Michigan State
9. Florida State
10. Notre Dame
