Cleveland Browns Claim Terrelle Pryor as WR

TD Catch Against Texas
The Browns have claimed Terrell Pryor off waivers as a WR. This is a VERY interesting move here. Pryor is 6'6" 260 and a freak athlete. In the redzone this could be a dangerous weapon. Throw the ball up to him and let him go get it! Why am I actually excited about this move?

Call me delusional, but I honestly think this could be a good move. In redzone situations, put him in there and throw a jump ball. Teams are going to have to at least acknowledge he is out there. The guy is a freak athlete!

Well I guess he has to be a WR at this point. Dude was behind fricking AJ McCarron on the Bengals depth chart.

Not saying you're wrong but that route takes way more than just being big and tall and launching the ball up. It's almost just as much about timing and rhythm with the qb. Like I said I'm not saying he can't learn that but there's a reason teams don't do this every play from the 5 yard line.

Regardless of his athleticism, he hasn't started at WR since high school. He'll be forgotten by training camp

This is a little late in the game to be switching. Like a 70 year old woman deciding she's a lesbian.

he'll have to use his athleticism to pry a spot on the final roster
