Is he always this much of a troll? At first I thought he was going to be a sensible counter-weight to the ESPN type leftist talking heads but after listening to his podcasts I realize that he's just as bad. He's nothing more than a right-leaning SAS. It's like a member of TD got his own radio show and podcast.

He's never voted for a republican in his life and campaigned for gore. Your misdiagnosing him as "right leaning" instead "anti-snowflake...dbap"

Just because he's never voted for a republican candidate doesn't mean he's not currently right leaning. He's definitely right leaning right now. Just about every position I've seen him take publicly in the last couple of years has been on the right side.

He's WAY smarter than the average MSB poster, but yea hes basically a contrarian troll.

The fact that people think Clay Travis is right-leaning shows you how far off the deep end the left has gone.

Have you listened to his show? I consider myself right leaning, so that in itself is not a issue, but it's the transparent trolling that is off-putting.

I want politics off the MSB as much as I want it off ESPN

Yes. That is his schtick.

It was fine when he was on an afternoon sports talk show here in Nashville because he would basically just make fun of everyone that called in.

People can change.

You can't listen to his commentary and think "you know what, he's a left leaning guy". If you want to go middle of the road I mighttttt give you that. I'm not sure where he stands on economic policy, international relations, etc...

But through a social lens, he's on the right. 100%

clay voted for obama twice. he is actually pretty down the middle. the fact that common sense nowadays gets you labeled as "right wing" tells you all you need to know.

I really enjoyed his point of view, until I came to the conclusion that he's openly the biggest narcissist I've ever seen. He's not inherently terrible to listen to, but everything that comes out of his mouthful is judgemental and that schtick gets old. Personally have nothing against the guy. He's successful because of what he does, so you can't blame the man foe gettin paid.

I used to really enjoy listening to him but I can only hear him talk about himself so much. I know it is part of his character but he gets bogged down doing it.

I thought this was going to be about his announcement on taking parts of Outkick to a paid premium access site. Talk about an overinflated ego.

Campaigned for Gore, voted for Obama twice, but is right leaning? Lol wut?

He's a Vandy law grad and has found a forum where he can rile as many snowflakes as possible. I can see where it may off putting, but I find it hilarious how many people get butthurt about his tweets.

I used tonot like him, but he's tolerable for me solely because he has the balls, and is the only one out there at the moment in the sports world, who calls ESPN and everyone else out.

Sounds like the SloFloPro of talk radio. They are both lawyers, too...
