Isn't he like 5-2? Washington was a pretty terrible program just a few years ago.

They just lost to Oregon...like lots of teams do. Otherwise, they aren't terrible.

It's his first year.

Maybe Sark didn't leave the cupboard stocked with 5-stars?

They are in a tough conference.

Washington wasn't a great team previously...good, but not great.

He's 7 games into his coaching career. It's going to take a bit to coach the Sark out of these guys and rebuild the roster. It doesn't help that there isn't a good QB on the roster.

That makes no sense. His Boise State teams had no problem handling Oregon.

Yep, have to wait and see what he has them doing in Year 3.

It makes no sense? He had a team full of guys he had recruited and coached from day one going up against a completely different Oregon team. Just because he won a game 5 or so years ago means he should win against that team now?

Exactly, he has a qb playing that he never would've recruited to begin with. He's in a position that he has to go with what was left for him. Gonna be a few years before it's his team.

Both the 2008 and 2009 Oregon teams that Peterson beat won ten games, and the 2009 team was the PAC-10 champs and got a Rose Bowl bid.

I agree with this. The reason that Peterson beat Oregon when he was at Boise State was because his Boise State teams were better than this Washington team, not because those Oregon teams sucked.

Even if a coach inherited a good team, there would likely be growing pains due to the transition.

This is an odd thread?

Op have you just started watching college football this year, then heard some random stat about CP's success against Oregon in the last and assumed that it should continue?

And just FYI, if you reference Boise beating Oregon, you are required to post the Lagarratt Blount gif from that game.if you don't know what that is then please never post here again.
