Hate to see him go out that way, especially with the way the fans handled the situation.

Going to be really weird not seeing him suit up in a Braves uniform next year. Never really experienced a Braves season when he was not part of the team.

Congrats on a HOF career

And yes, I know that he's white trash that knocked up a Hooters girl.

I've been watching him since I was a little boy and was even #10 in t-ball. Sucks.

hopefully they talk him in to a job as a hitting coach in the next year or 2. He will be missed, that's for sure.

I was 3 years old when Chipper's career started and he's been my favorite player since I've known what baseball was. Hate to see him go.

Might not be in a year or two but with the way he's talked, this is most likely going to happen.

One of the greatest switch hitters of all time. I would love to see him back in a braves uniform as a coach in a few years

I don't think it would take much. He has been pretty open about wanting to.

Love him for what he's done for the braves. Hate him as a person and how I've seen him treat fans on multiple occasions.

Now he can retire to a peaceful life of banging Hooters waitresses, raising bastard children, and doing whatever else it is that rednecks do when they're jobless.

It won't be the same watching them play in Queens without "Larry! Larry! Larry!" chants.

I can't believe it's over. A living legend just walked off the field for the last time.
