The Cubs (89-48) continue their series with the Brewers (60-77) tonight from Miller Park. Jason Hammel (14-7, 3.14) gets the ball opposite Wily Peralta (5-9, 5.33). Go Cubs Go!

I like that Joe is giving Kris and Addisson a rest.

Gawd I cringe with Hammel on the mound at times. He's either really good.. or really bad.

I'm glad hammel isn't pitching when I see them in Houston this weekend. Get to see Lester Friday and Jake on Saturday

You bastard. I was privileged to see Mike Montgomery's first start in Colorado. Missed Hendricks by one day.

Let's just both hope that planning a late October Chicago trip becomes meaningful

I'm flying into Chicago on the 28th no matter what happens. Plan B is to rent a car and hit Notre Dame/Miami the next day.

That's an awesome idea. I'm scheduled to fly into Chicago on the 28th also. Got an early flight that would get us there at 9 am. Only concern is I don't think the hotel will let me check in early and I'd want to get to wrigleyville ASAP if we are lucky enough to be in the series.

Step brother lives a mile from Wrigley. Luckily I won't have to worry about a hotel.

Geez that pitch hit Carter in the shoulder and then hit the umpire in the face.

Hammel making sure everyone else has a bad night too
