This is starting to pick up a lot of steam as well.

Or Rams/Raiders, Rams/Chargers.

Seems very likely LA's new stadium will be home to two teams like MetLife.

quote:

PFT reported on Sunday that the NFL believes it’s 12-24 months away from returning to Los Angeles. The team (or teams, if two) would play in a temporary location at first, since one or more years as a lame duck in a current city would be untenable.

The Raiders, Rams, and Chargers currently are regarded as the primary options to relocate.

Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times reports that Dodger Stadium is “in play” as a potential temporary location for an NFL team. The venue joins the Rose Bowl and the L.A. Coliseum as potential short-term options while a new stadium is built.

I'd hate to see San Diego lose their team. Yes I know they use to be the L.A. Chargers.

I thought the Raiders were close to a new stadium deal in Oakland?

They are. It's more about the A's now and what they're going to do.

You need the Oakland Raiders and the SD Chargers.

Move the rams back to where they belong.

Rams barring a miracle will be gone at the end of the season. They have a get out of STL free card in hand and an owner that owns enough land and family backing to build it on own and tell AEG and the city of LA to freak off.

The Raiders are the most desperate that play in a shitty stadium (literally) but they have a Davis in charge so who knows what will happen.

The Chargers have just reopened talks with SD's new republican mayor who seems receptive and willing to work with them. Plus they have to pay to leave but that decreases every year. I could see them continuing negotiating with SD until the new LA stadium opens then jumping ship.

What I would like to see:
Rams to LA
Chargers stay in SD
Raiders to San Antonio just to piss off Jerry.

I'm afraid it might be the Chargers. They've wanted a new stadium since PetCo Park was built

So, LA has proved unable to support an NFL team. Let's add 2!

Seems logical.

Raiders will end up in San Antonio. Rams and Chargers will end up in LA.

You may be right. Chargers are still at a standstill on their new stadium, getting nowhere on it while the Raiders about have a deal finished.

I don't blame SD one bit.

LA didn't support the teams when they had two, why does the NFL think they will do it now?

I think LA would support a team now, and very well.

Two? Idk about that, unlikely.

I just can't see the Raiders leaving Cali. But being in San Antonio would be nice for us Chiefs fans. Make the rivalry games closer. Just hope the Hispanics down there aren't as violent.

Seems like the Chargers should angle for a stadium similar to what the Falcons are getting that can morph to also best fit an MLS team. If the place also serves as home of San Diego State, it has enough sports dates to justify building it.
