I can't find it where I can inbed it. Frick Twitter

Edit for GIF (Thank ye Reddit) WTF, it's not showing up for me

Very interesting documentary on netflix titled "fastball". Claims Nolan Ryan actually threw 108 mph.

The broken bat hitting the ball again by the second baseman was pretty cool too.

I just watched that Sunday. Not sure of the accuracy, but I agree that the measurement of today's players is prone to getting the fastest reading possible.

Man... if you throw 95, you're throwing some gas. And he's throwing 10 mph harder than that.

Crazy.

They were back to back in the video but occurred different times during the inning.

Regardless, I have to believe we're getting close to the fastest a human can possibly throw a baseball.

That was an awesome documentary, forgot the pitchers name way back in the day but they did a study and he threw the fastest fastball I believe around 114 MPH. Insane.

Not sure if it's on Netflix still, but there's a great called "Knuckleball," came out around 2012 and features Dickey & Wakefield.

It amazes me how the Yankees are just .500 having Betances, Miller and Chapman at the back end of their bullpen. Having three relievers that good is a huge advantage but the Yankees are such a poorly constructed team that it doesn't matter. Even their bullpen ERA is only 6th in the American League because their other relievers are complete garbage.

I don't know. I figured 65% of the male OTers could throw at least 87??

I’m sure there are quite a few people that have played MLB that can throw 105 MPH if they throw as hard as they can in a general direction.

The craziest part about it is that he is doing it for strikes with control. fricking unreal.

Contrary to popular belief, you actually have to make the batter swing or throw the ball across the plate in this thing called a strike zone for it to be considered a strike.

Man, you're a tool.

You know what I meant. And they made contact with a few, such as the one that broke the bat.

Oh I know, I just think it's kind of funny that everyone is making it out like he was just hitting corners left and right when that wasn't the case and never has been with Chapman.

The one that I think hit 103MPH, I believe it was? The batter you could tell just made up his mind that he was swinging regardless of where it was
