And their next few drafts are going to be stupid for someone as good as them already. They could possibly finish with the best record in the east and have the #1 pick this year and next year I believe. They've set themselves up well for the future.

It was inevitable, let's see if Boston can take advantage and secure that 1 spot

Is there a good post "three amigos" era article on the Celtics out there that breaks it down?
Want to read about how they built this shite. And the Stevens hire appears to have been a badass move as to well

I'd love to think that the celtics could surpass the cavs but the NBA already has a cavs vs warriors trilogy wet dream in the making and I fear the refs would never allow boston by clev.

It's crazy that Stevens is only 40 years, and has already had this much success in college and the NBA.

I don't think they can pull it off yet. Home court or not; Refs help or not.

Celtics are really coming together, but I'm concerned the Cavs are mailing it in right now and just don't care. Remember when the Celtics had a ho-hum regular season in 2010 and made it to Game 7 against the Lakers and almost won it all? That's where the Cavs are.

I'm a bit Celtics fan, but even if they get the #1 seed, I'm afraid it's fool's gold against the Cavs.

Big fella, toronto will have home court vs #3 cavs. Celtics wont face lebron. Excused by the canadians in 7.

Honestly I think a 1 vs 4 against the Wizards is a tougher matchup for the cavs. We saw what the Wizards did to Lebron and co last night

This breaks it down pretty well

The infamous Brooklyn deal was basically the big reset button but getting Thomas for Marcus Thornton and a first was certainly a fantastic move. They really only bottomed out the one year (2013-14)

I feel like the Cavs are being lazy like the 2010 Lakers.

I'll admit, I thought the NBA would eat him alive. Dude has turned out to be a very good coach.
