I know it's still pretty early for CBB to be on some people's radar but, of the few games I've seen, Okafor has been damn good.

19.5 PPG (68% shooting), 8.7 RPG, 1.7 BPG as a freshman is pretty salty. Doesn't exactly set the World on fire on D but there aren't many frosh that do. He's gotta be the #1 pick right now, right?

He's easily the best player in the country.

Coach K has only acknowledged one player as a "One and Done" type of talent over his entire career coaching.

That person was Jahlil Okafor

A lot of analysts are saying he has the best footwork they have seen out of a college big, ever (hyperbole im thinking)

It will be interesting if he ends up in Philly with Noel and Embiid.

Best player in country. He's a freshman but plays like a Junior or Senior.

Incredible footwork and coordination for his size.

I was a bit too young for McHale, but the only guys I've seen with a better post game are Olajuwon and Duncan.

Now he is not a good defender. The Duke strategy is clearly
For him to not play much D to risk fouls, but he will never be a good defender. However he has fantastic hands and will be an elite rebounder. Not a bad shot blocker either. Great passer and seems to be a very placid, easygoing guy. I've seen him react very gently to cheap shots, which will help him in the NBA when he goes up against the Steven Adams-types.

He is a poor free throw shooter and lacks elite athleticism for the 5 position. I think he will be a 10 time All Star and a top 10 player in the NBA at his peak.

reminds me of Al Jefferson

Will probably be a 20-10 guy in the league. I dont think he will be a top 10 guy. Probably more like top 20-25

ill just echo the sentiments and say that he is fricking awesome.

i went to the champions classic early in the year with kentucky, duke, kansas, and michigan state and he was clearly the best player out there. i was happy to see him in person. i hope he goes to philly. really wanna see what they do with those 3 bigs.

He's an amazing player to watch. He's not hurting for size, but it's refreshing to watch a guy get by on pure skill rather than athleticism. It's almost unfair how good his footwork and post skills are for his age.

If he had never moved to Chicago he would be a hog.

He is so dominant in the post with his skill, it's refreshing to see.

Like everyone else said, he's amazing. When I saw he lost a bunch of weight I wasn't sure how that would affect his offensive game, a lot of these centers are just beating up smaller guys. It's obviously had no negative impact, he's pretty much the perfect post player, too big and skilled to be stopped with one guy and a willing and smart passer when he's doubled.

He's so unique, al jefferson is the best comp but we obviously never saw him in college. The big spin move hook shots, he's got this 'what the hell was that' fading away sideways bank shot that I don't think he's ever missed, it's really fun to watch a big man with actual post moves.

Trade out of the pick and get a king's ransom, unless Embiid suffers a setback or his prognosis worsens. That will get them where they need to be the fastest.

It may be different with okafor if he keeps up his pace but you usually don't see those nfl type trades at the top of a nba draft.

The most important thing philly can do is get a star. They only have one potential one in embiid, drafting okafor doubles their chances even if he plays the same position.

Towns is looking pretty intriguing too though and he would be a great fit with the guys philly already has.

Best back-to-the-basket player I've seen in CBB in like a decade...

Who was in the same league as Okafor? Can't think of anyone since Duncan as an upperclassman.
