Rockies got a leadoff hit last night, then never got on base again. Wainwright was perfect through 4 and a third before Helton just walked.

That is insane. Glad the Stros are using the Cardinals playbook in rebuilding.

Wainwright now 2 innings from a no hitter. Unreal. 48 out of 49 retired.

Another way to put it is that the Rockies have been No-Hit for the last 49 batters.

The Cardinal farm system is just a machine, decade after decade have great development. Scary good team of young players to help win the next Cards WS crown in the near future.

you left of gast, while not a faberge egg, prospect, he is certainly a middle to back end starter.

A lot of pieces to deal from, if they needed a tulo.

Also, rosenthal is also a starter, with heat and nasty stuff. his future depends on motte and his health.

Looks like Oscar Tavares is already heating up, .319 and climbing.

As a Reds fan it pains me to think about how good the Cardinals are and how good their future looks.

Same here. The 40 straight batters tied the MLB record, which was set by Texas vs. Detroit in 1996.
