Goes to show you just how poorly LSU develops their QBs. Meyer played 3 QBs this season and all of them were game ready

I would love for Cardale & Braxton to transfer to LSU together. Braxton starts next year and wins a championship while Cardale has to sit out then he gets the nod. I can dream right?

Why should jones sit and what would then happen to jt Barrett. Carter is just a homer for his school. To me jones absolutely should go pro when he has the most pro Skill-set. Regardless if he's "ready", he should strike while he's hot, dude has a wife and kid? To me Barrett is the future there.

If I am advising him I tell him to look at this way. He needs to assume that he will be sitting next season behind someone. Does he want to sit at OSU and go to class or sit on an NFL roster and get paid.

Maybe....but with a family a degree might serve them better in the long term future.

He's also the youngest of 6 siblings. If Cardale stays he will be 23 by the time next year's draft rolls around. Winston and Mariotta are 21 going into this one, respectively. Jones needs to go pro. He'll get drafted, and being 23 close to 24 as a rookie in 2016 isn't exactly ideal in the NFL.

if Logan Thomas can go in the 4th rd, there will be a team willing to spend a 3-4th on Cardale. Especially because this QB class blows anyway

not sure what you are getting at there. Leak and Tebow were both pretty good in college; the little we have seen of Jones seems to have been good.
