Just seeing this - yeah, pretty stupid thing to say. Probably a hundred ways to talk around that without saying it.

Let's face it, guy is a physical freak and a good QB - just isn't as professional or intelligent as we'd like him to be. I'll tune into the local sports radio tomorrow and they gonna be blasting him - there is never any shortage of Cam hate around here when he's really screwing up.

You know how boring these interviews must be for these guys. They never even ask real football questions, instead it's stupid stuff like, "tell me how you pass when the game is on the line?"

I'm sure you would get better interviews if questions were more like, "It looked like the defense for most of the game was Tampa Two, but you guys kept trying to attack the weak side deep. This traditionally is a strength of a Tampa Two defense, what was the thinking there?" At least then you would get some understanding of what was going on in the mind of the QB, of course that would require reporters to know what is going on, on the field of play.

He knew what he was doing, he just didn't care. There is a rare breed of men who don't care what the politically incorrect angle their comments may present, they just say it anyway. The best I can remember is Christopher Hitchens (RIP) coming out with that "women aren't funny" bit and then having the opportunity to back-peddle in an interview with a female in which he basically responded that he said exactly what he meant, and he was right about what he said.
