Not by winning but showing the maturity and poise of an adult. The sulking, crying and lack of effort at the end proved his haters right. And I don't even hate the guy.

His haters will still hate him if he recovers that fumble.

You are kidding yourself.

There is nothing he could do to sway those people.

If he saved a kid from a burning building it would be,

"well ,yeah, but did you see the way he did it?"

He looked like he was going to cry near the end of the game

Old white guy here who is a Cam fan. When he didn't dive for that fumble I became an ex-Cam fan.

When they watch the replay, his own teammates will hate him.

why would I melt?

I am not a panthers fan.

If anything I am sad football season is over.

I am not sure if you know what melt actually means.

He definitely should've got it but let's not act like he's changing any minds toward him if he recovers that.

I'm guessing you're a Trump supporter, because this is dumb as frick.

Cam didn't dive for it because he anticipated it was going to move again, which it did. Are people this fricking stupid? I agree it made Cam look unsure, but they basically acknowledged this on live TV.

I never saw him show a lack of effort. Wouldn't you also be upset if you had just lost the super bowl and was sacked 7 times in the process?

Nah, that would have made no difference. It just gave his haters awesome ammo going forward, and may have lost a few fringe fans that were on the fence, but tiring of his antics.

Maybe not, but he did himself absolutely no favors tonight. I'm a fan, but he just poured a ton of fuel onto the fire by acting exactly the way people said he'd act when shite got tough.

He showed no poise or effort. People criticize him for being a frontrunner, and he just proved that is exactly who he is.

I hate Trump and you need to leave politics on the poliboard tonight.

You're having a hard night.

Probably not, but the worst thing he could do was make the indifferent NFL watchers empathize with the haters with that inexcusable effort.

He failed miserably on the biggest stage

Some humility should do him good
