Bilas is pretty fair when it comes to Duke, borders on overly critical at times IMO. He might be a little biased toward the ACC but it's also typically stacked

Bilas does everything in his power to look objective about Duke so he always takes up for their opponent and lavishes praise on UNC every year. It's the exact opposite of what all the UNC guys do.

Conference tournaments only matter to bubble teams and teams trying to get the automatic bid. Selection committee only changes their bracket for the bubble teams and the automatic bids. Cal is right that it doesn't matter because the selection committee isn't gonna update their whole bracket for the teams that are safely in.
