603 at bats.

39 Hrs------.065 per at bat

102 RBI--- .169 per at at


2017

535 at bats

29 hrs----.054 per at bat

73 RBI------ .136 per at bat

That's not how baseball shows stats. We say things like a home run every 6 at bats. Or an RBI every 9 at bats. We do not give decimals per plate appearance. Although it might would work. Just would need some adjustment mentally. Haha


And by we I mean baseball fans.

I would absolutely in conversation say, "a homerun every so and so" at bats. Makes way more sense conversationally. But when presenting a data set a decimal tells the story better. At least in my math brain it does
