They've done studies and 65-75% of the league has been doing it since the early 70's.
Never going to stop...you either do it to stay relevant or you're out of the game - just like cycling.
HGH is totally rampant according to all reports.
One veteran NFL player put it this way: "Steroids aren't the problem. HGH is the big problem. For the past four or five years, the league has been almost overrun by HGH."

The NFL testing for PEDs is like the WWE testing for PEDS.
It's sports entertainment and everyone outside of QBs (well, ahem, Peyton Manning excluded) and maybe a few running backs has to take this shite to stay in the game.
