he set up this foundation years ago. i will guarantee you that he set up a fund (as a rookie, with that fat signing bonus) for this purpose. the odds of him paying these scholarships with salary this year is about the same as me making a billion dollars tonight

According to the article,
he made aroudn 1mil this last year.
Obviously $200,000 is plenty for a normal human being to live with, but the fact that it is 80% of his yearly salary (regardless of his past salary) its a big deal.

Im sure he planned veryyyyy well for this if he was going to make a bold promise like that, but still, he actually lived up to it

Scott's tots was one the most hard-to-watch episodes of any tv show out there. I will never re-watch that awkwardness.

That being said, great job by Braylon to actually follow through with such a bold promise.

Why is that even relevant? Are you really that much of a contrarian that you must contest this thread?

The point is that the amount he's paying out is three-fourths of his salary this year. NOT that he's paying out of money he received this year.

Damn fine gesture regardless.

He made that promise years ago with the Browns. 10000 for every dropped pass he had with us.

75 x 10000 = 750,000

Edwards didn't shy away from his commitment. In fact, he increased it.

The 79 students were provided with laptops and other supplies to help them out when they arrived on campus.
