No it won't. The Brooklyn pick is huge. But nola isn't looking to rebuild. They have AD, boogie, and holliday. And even then, I don't think Cleveland wants to burn their only post LeBron lifeline that they have on boogie

I think the Cavs need to offer some more, but I truly believe Cousins is not a good fit for the Pelicans.
They'd be wise to flip him for a package that better fits their team.
It's all about championships. The Pels are not going to come close to winning a 'ship with Cousins as Anthony Davis' sidekick.
A possible #1 overall draft pick and more is a move that could get you closer than Boogie ever could. With Boogie you're just spinning your wheels for a little while on a mediocrity treadmill.

Not saying you're wrong but Davis would likely say "frick this, let me out" if they didn't even give those guys one game together in 2017-18.
Then there's Rondo, who is here because Cousins recruited him here. I guess you can move him with Boogie, but that's still not enough return.
This is dumb. At least Davis seems to know this rumor stuff is a joke (he addressed the Boston stuff). If Cousins was a little leery, he'd likely be able to talk him off worrying.
Lastly, if the Pels were rebuilding, I would pray to everything that Demps was the last person on earth who'd get to oversee that rebuild.
