I do think he returns to the SEC. The next step would be to identify the team in the most turmoil; therefore, the team most likely to hire a new coach in the near future.

He wants back into the SEC badly from what I understand, but I suppose that doesn't automatically mean he will get in.
Too soon to tell about MSU but if Merlins loses both superbowls, they may call up the porker.

I honestly don't see Mizzou taking a chance on him. He flirted with other schools all the time at Looeyville, he left the Falcons in teh dead of night and he got fired from Arkansas for lying to his boss and the world. Mizzou needs a long term solution and Petrino has never once proven he can be that.

Mizzou 5-7 again this year. Pinkle fired. Petrino hired. Could lead to some fun games with Petrino at Mizzou and Anderson at Arky in basketball. Not to mention Arky also has Mizzou's future head baseball coach in Vitello.

I think he'll resurface in the Big 12 or pac 10. Fits his style more. A team desperate to win and willing to overlook his past. USC? UT? i think both of them will be looking for a coach soon.
