You are obsessed with Rockets fans. Are you still mad because there are so many Houston fans on a "Louisiana-based board?"

To be honest, I probably would have voted Morey executive of the year, but one thing that may have hurt him a little was the votes being done at the end of the regular season (I believe) so other Exec's didn't see how effective Josh Smith and Jason Terry were.

That being said, it's also an award voted by other execs so Morey isn't going to get the benefit of the doubt since I'm sure a lot of these guys have a ton of bias towards people they're better friends with. If the media voted on this Morey would finish 3rd at worst. I wouldn't get so upset the other execs don't line Morey.

maybe it's due to golden state's success being built via hitting home runs in the draft rather than acquiring talent via free agency or okc's desperation trade.

Executive of the Year. Which homeruns did Golden State hit in the draft this past year?

Lets not forget ye stole kerr out of jacksons hands...was pretty ballsy to fire marc jackson (and it wasn't popular to fans) and then go and take kerr out his mentors hands

I agree with that. But hiring Kerr was really the only move he made.

Firing Jackson wasn't hard. Management had a big problem with him. He wasn't getting along with them at all. Their relationship was "beyond repair" if I remember correctly.

Hiring a guy with no coaching experience in Kerr and paying him what they did was ballsy.

Would have saved quite a bit of time apparently.
