Kicking is such a mental activity, and Blair Walsh is the most mental of the bunch. He can be so good, but this season was so similar to his senior year at UGA.

Hopefully he can get back to normal with a change of scenery.

His extra point misses had gotten so bad that Minnesota had started referring to a 7 point deficit as "a couple of scores."

I don't think he cost them any one game this season. Any football coach will say and know that one single play has ever determined the result of a football game when you can have a fumble or offsides or missed tackle that could have led to a chain of events costing a team a game.

But, the poor guy. He got a kick blocked against Michigan State his senior year in a bowl game. He's no Kevin Butler.

Reminds me of a Ditka story: Butler once asked Ditka if he would still love him if he muffed the game winner. Ditka replied "Yeah. I'd miss ya, but still love ya.

tell me about it, Missouri has a freshman kicker, who was one of top kickers in the nation. shite, he hit a 60 yarder in a game last season in HS.

But not only is he struggling, he can't hit an EXP to save his life. It's painful to watch.
