Bitter ULL fans sporting Bama tshirts.......

So, Im in Dons meats passing through and see a fella at the counter wearing a Bama T. Well, jokingly I said he was brave wearing that around there. At that point, he looks at me and in his best condescending tone says, "this is Scott not Baton Rouge!" From that point goes into the whole political naming-funding tirade. I tried to explain that LSU fans can also support UL to which he turns his nose up.
....and he did indicate the tshirt was to get under lsu fan's skin.
fricking pathetic. Hows about buying a Cajun ticket and put your bitter asses in the stands to support your team before bad-mouthing ALL LSU fans.
Wife kept poking me to cool it, otherwise it coulda gotten sticky.

I've said this before, but there are pockets of people all over the state that hate LSU for some reason or another. They're idiots and misguided, but whatever. They used to be scattered and pulling in a thousand different directions. But now, Bama has galvanized them and they have all jumped on their bandwagon.
Personally, I've never understood the philosophy of pulling for whoever is playing X team. I'd prefer to just pull for my team.

The penis envy is getting worse in Lafayette. Honestly, I can't say it even bothers me. It's so irrelevant that it's comedy.
Here's what makes it worth mentioning....
They cheer when we lose at local bars and tell us to move to BR, but everything ULL's doing right now is practically mimicking LSU. So everything they bitched about the last 5 years they are now embracing.
