Meanwhile up in Chicago Trubisky is having trouble with completing a qb/rb exchange

Trubisky is raw, needs a lot of work.

DW is odd. He doesn't blow you away with talent, but he seems to have that "it" factor, and a knack for winning.

He is better than Mallet and Tom Savage

It's amazing how so many great players have a knack for winning when surrounded by elite teammates.

I think Turbisky is going to be a monumental bust. Like on a Ryan Leaf/JaMarcus Russell level.
Watson is a Dak Prescott type. He's a leader and a winner.

Trubisky was always the project.
Deshaun was always the most ready.

Draft success will not be defined in the first preseason game on schedule of their perspective careers.

Watson is definitely in the better situation, though. The salty Clemson fans don't seem to realize this. They should be thankful he wasn't taken by the Bears.

I'm not salty, and yes Watson is in a good situation. But its pretty dam obvious Watson is better than Trubisky. He's a better quarterback and will have a better career, simple as that

And he is so calm and cool that it is scary. No matter his mistakes or turnovers, he'll just come right back like it didn't happen. He seems kind of emotionless.

To be fair, Obrien hasn't been around that many good rookie QBS

Only been in the NFL since 07 so he's seen Matt Guiterez, Kevin Occonnell, Brian Hoyer, Zac Robinson, Ryan Mallet, and Tom Savage

So did a guy like Vince Young and to an extent, Johnny Manziel. That's not to say Watson will end up like those guys, but it's such a different ball game from college to the NFL at the QB spot

Predicting the QBs that will have success in the NFL is really hard. However, one of the few factors that actually has some accuracy is the number of starts in college. It's not a perfect predictor, and there are plenty of outliers.

Watson played a ton of games in college, and Trubisky started very few, especially for a 1st round pick.
