Ok, before this gets out of hand because who I am, I think Brady is an all time great. But watching the game tonight and watching Jimmy G go 22-27, how good is Bill? I mean Brady went down game 1 a few seasons ago, and the Patriots went 11-5 with a shitty arse Cassel. And now they have Jimmy G looking like a pro bowler. How much does Tommy owe to the hoodie?

God would fail in Cleveland

Eta: He also took them to the playoffs. That alone makes him the GOAT

He failed in a season where God. Satan, and Lucifer conspired against a city.

That was a no win if there ever was no win that year.

I know our defense sucked. But 25/32 is legit. And the Matt Cassel shitface winning 11 games can't be ignored

Eta: And our D looked good against a certain Qb tonight.......

Same could be said with qb and coach on the other side of the ball.

50% of Brady's success is owed to Bill.

The other 50%? A can of Coca~Cola during halftime for endurance.

Maybe he did. But Drew did have Pro Bowl season in San Diego. And Sean has never proven he could win 11 games with a shitty Qb. Bill did.

And New England's starting receiving core isn't playing. And there is still Matt Cassell. Look I think Brady is an all time great but it is interesting that the Patriots are completely fine without him

Bill is an all time great, but I put absolutely ZERO stock into anything that happens is pre-season.

Ok frick the pre season then. What about Matt Cassel? And pre season sucks but Garrapolo is legit right now. As much as I like to frick with Wildcat and Jcoryce on here the Patriots will be fine with him those first 4 games

Both are beneficiaries of a continuance of shitty div competition, league favor and cheating. How many many offensive probowlers and playoff teams have came from the billsjetsdolphins since those two have been together?!

I think more praise needs to be placed with Josh McDaniels. He really is an offensive genius

Here's how I would assign credit.

2001-2004 Mostly Belichick. The Patriots defense carried the team during those years.

2005-2009 Equal. The defense and offense was equally good during those years.

2010-Present Mostly Brady. The Patriots defense was ranked 25th, 31st, 25th and 26th in total defense from 2010-2013 yet they were able to win 51 games and make three conference championship games during those years because the offense was so potent. And Brady's performance was by far the biggest reason why they were able to beat the Ravens and Seahawks in the playoffs last year.

I thought O'Brien was OC when Cassell played?

McDaniels was QB coach under Weiss I thought also.

He was the offensive coordinator 2006-2008 & 2012 through now. He was the coordinator of their best season ever
