BIG NHL East Games Tonight: FLYERS vs Pens & Bruins vs Habs

The Flyers need this win over the Pens to stay 1st in the East & win the season series. Game tonight on NHL Network @7pm.
Bruins vs Habs only 3 points separate these 3 and 6 place teams. This game will get nasty if the score gets ugly.
And finally the Flames are done with last nights 3-6 loss to the Sharks and won't make the playoffs.
Flyers 5 Pens 2

Flames aren't quite done, but that was a brutal blow. Not as big as the Kings loss, though. Bad time to have a five game losing streak. Flames are getting near the "we have to win out" stage.

I know. I'm an experienced Flames fan. I don't get disappointed because I never get my hopes up. I've seen this movie before.

Not just Ovie. But Green and Arnott are resting up and will be back for the playoffs. I feel like the team is running well right now, and it still has another gear it hasn't had to use yet.

Did you hear Recchi's latest comments concerning Pacioretty.
"Boston Bruins forward Mark Recchi told a Boston radio station Wednesday that he thought the Montreal Canadiens “embellished” the concussion suffered by Max Pacioretty in an effort to try to get Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara suspended for his hit on the Habs forward."
This game didn't need anymore controversy but leave it to father time to stir it up some more.

Flyers look great as well. Hoping that, if they play in the playoffs, it goes like first period of Tuesday's game, and not like the rest of the game.

Can you tell me why Lavy stated during the 1st period on ice interview of that game he stated "we are playing well right now, except for the soft goal Bobrosky gave up, we are controlling the flow" or some crap like that. i was like WTF game have you been watching!

Yes, we owned that 3rd period till Bouche let in another soft goal. I mean both of the Flyer goalies gave up really bad goals that game.
