Wow, what a shock. Ruffalo picks a team with guys that went to USC.

And it's a team that LOST a game.

Exactly. I wonder if anyone missed his ignorance in the time he was gone from the board.

2 of those players went to Ucla ftr.

They did lose a game as they were not good at the QB position, but from a physical and athletic standpoint they were the best H.S. team I have ever seen.

ESPN did an hour long show with Bob Ladocour (sp) the coach of De La Salle, and when he was talking about that game with Long Beach Poly, that during halftime they were primarily concerned with keeping their kids out of the hospital more so than trying to win the game.

2001 PBS had the best offensive line across the board that I've ever seen. They were guarenteed at least 7 yards a carry with marginal backs.

Best team ever: no way
Best O-Line ever: just maybe

This is definitely true, but they didn't play WM's two best teams--'98 and '00. I'm biased, but the '98 West Monroe team was the best I've ever seen. I think the '00 West Monroe team was probably better than any Evangel team too. But Evangel was better more often, obviously.

I saw that '90 Ruston team play twice in person. They were absolutely sick, too, but it's hard to compare. Not only was the game much different, even less than 10 years earlier, but being only 11 years old, I'm not sure my perspective was enough back then to really be able to judge.

How about Pittsburgh Central, that had Dan Marino, Tony Dorsett, Ricky Jackson, Hugh Green, Matt Cavanaugh, and Larry Fitzgerald all on the same team?

The 1986 Denham Springs team was pretty good. Lost to Ruston in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
