Looking to do some golfing the next few weeks with this awesome weather. I tend to be a cheapskate, so I am looking for bargain prices. I see The Bluffs offers a Monday special for $35, and The Island offers random specials (some rates around $19) at various times. Are there any other recommended places/deals the MSB can clue an outsider in on? I normally just play the LSU Course but feel like venturing out. Trying to keep each round as cheap as possible (under $45 ideally). Thanks for any help.

Sometimes you can get cheaper golfing deals if you tee off during the times when others are footballing !!

Golf Now has Copper Mill fees at $19...that's what I paid the last time I was there and it was in nice shape.

Webb is the worst value IMO.

I've played LSU, U Club, Webb, and City. Do not have a membership to U Club, and do not wish to play Webb or City again. I'll probably go to The Bluffs on a Monday. Anybody know the regular rate at Santa Maria or The Island? Heard good things about those two. Anybody ever play Greystone in Denham? And is there a noticable difference in course quality in Pelican Point Links vs GGR Course?

Greystone is a nice course, although I'm a little biased. Greens are in good shape right now as is the rest of the course although last weekend it appeard that somebody might have set the blades low on the fairway mowers. There were a few areas that got scalped!

Anyway, on Wednesdays, they have $35 specials.

Sounds like I need to do The Bluffs Monday and Greystone Wednesday. $35 is a good deal for a decent course nowdays.

Anybody know anything about Fennwood Hills? They're running a Groupon, $25 for two including a cart..
