Matched mine today. Shot 75. Only my 5th round sub 80. All this year. Generally I'm a solid mid 80s golfer playing at 6000-6500 yard range.

First 75 I shot 41-34.

Today I shot 42-33. Played my last 12 Bogey free. Had my closest call with an Ace. Ball pitched an inch short with an 8 iron and finished 3 inches left. Really soft greens today.

You should be able to break that soon if you have shot 33 and 34 on 9 holes. Congrats

Shot 31-40. That stung

Best round was probably 33 (bogey on last 2 holes) then shot 38 on the back hitting 2 balls OB

I bet. I'd be pissed. 31 is impressive though.

I've had 70's and 71 a few times. Never cracked the 60's.

Shot 74 many, many, years ago while I was stationed in Japan. I was -1 thru 15 when one of the guys I was playing with happened to mention it. I hit it OB on the next hole a par 4, but made a hell of a 5. Hit it in the bunker on #17, a par 3 and couldn't get it up & down. Bogie. Three jacked the last hole for another bogie.

78 at Bayou CC (8 over)
79 at Brack Park in San Antonio (8 over)
79 at Ellendale last month (7 over)
79 at The Tribute in DFW area (7 Over)
37 is my best 9 hole score on s regulation course, multiple times. First time was at The Bridges had a four hole stretch of Birdie, Eagle Par Birdie

Best blowup story is Atchafalaya: Was 3 over through 15 (had parred 8-15) and was laying two just left of the 16th green. Skulled my chip shot into the bunker on the right and it came to rest in some bamboo shoots. I had a clean look at the back of the ball, so I didn't take an unplayable... Anyway, ended up with a 10 and parred the last two for a smooth 80. I still have nightmares about that lie in the bunker.

Not the best round I've ever had, but I shot an 89 at Torey Pines with the old man about ten years ago. More satisfying than any under 80 round I've ever had.

1 under par 69 at Los Amigos in Downey, CA.

Shot 33-36. Had an unbelievable day putting. 30 footer for birdie on #2. 60 footer to save par on #16 after hitting my tee shot in the water. A few 10-12 foot birdie putts to offset a double bogey on #9, a 242 yard par 3.

Not sure if I'd hit an easy driver or hard strong 3 wood. Ego says 3 wood.

I'm a mere mortal with a 98 swing speed.
