That was probably the cleanest James Jones could have legally ran his route. That wouldn't have fallen under "letting something go". It was perfectly clean.

This is how I know you don't know the rules because it doesn't matter if it's in 5 yards if the ball is in the air and thrown beyond the line of scrimmage. At the point the ball is in the air it becomes pass interference.
