Any one have a good explanation why the computers are so in love with Okie State? Wins over LL, AZ., Tulsa, A&M, Kansas, Texas, and MO. Only wins over 2 ranked teams at time of play and a overall record of 24-22. Any one else impressed?

The computers love the Big 12. They think it's the best conference.

The combo of them being undefeated and the way they've beaten teams. TAMU has really been their only close game. For the most part, the rest have been blowouts. So being undefeated and beating teams they should and the way they are supposed to(i.e. blowouts)= computers love them

computers do not care about rankings in opinion polls, let alone rankings from severall weeks ago. They also do not avg out wins. ULL, Tulsa, A&M, UT and Mizzo all have good records.

Had LSU played some scrub FBS team from a non-AQ conference instead of NWst, our computer ranking could be #1

Margin of victory doesn't count in the computers as of 2004.

I know that, I was just using it as reference for the beating the teams they were supposed to.

Computers will love Stanford the most if they beat Oregon.

Nah, their overall schedule is too weak. An undefeated OSU gets in over Stanford. The only chance for the big Tree to make it to NOLA is for Ok State to lose.

If they win out, they're in because LSU (hopefully beats Bama). No way any of the teams under them could leap them.
