Yeah you're right, they only beat two of the best teams in the country in Syracuse and Kansas State then took down back-to-back Final Four team Michigan State and were one shot away from beating the only No. 1 seed left in the tournament.

Well, your original point in your thread title was correct.
March madness doesn't crown the best team in America like the BCS does, March Madness crowns the hottest team at the end of the year.
But Butler was truly deserving and PROVED they were one of the best 10-15 teams, and they did this since the start of the season.
