Bama defense dirty?

A caller on a sports radio show in Dallas is calling the Bama defenders dirty because they use their helmets as battering rams. Said they come as close as they can to breaking the rules by spearing players with their helmets. Get over it.

they got away with spear on J Jefferson. Not crying but a call that should have been made. but let's face it Bama ALWAYS gets the calls. Have been since the invention of football. I've learned to get used to it.

Yep we better get over it because now that Saban is there it will only get worse. You are telling me that over 30 quarters with no holding calls in the OL, give me a break.

The guy that speared JJ in the chest is the same guy that hurt McCoy. I swear every tackle he makes he leads with his head.

I am pretty sure that is what they said last night during the game.

That PF on Kindle in the 4th(?) was the worst call I've ever seen. Went from what should have been -10 to +15 for Bama.

Picture worth a 1000 words. I am pretty sure this is the hit.

57 is the one that hit him and hurt him. So no that's not a pic of the hit.

This is it...that's just what happens sometimes when you get nailed by a 300lb dude.

Perfect example of a picture being worth DICK. That guy didn't even hit McCoy, but the pic looks like he crushes him in the elbow.

leading with his head
How else are you supposed to tackle? Turn and run sideways? Strictly tackle with your arms? You have to lead with your head due to anatomy. Even when you tackle with your shoulder pads first, the head leads to some degree, unless you don't want anyone to wrap up anymore.

I did say, pretty sure.

No, nothing against you Nissanmaxima. If I saw that pic I'd think the exact same thing. Very misleading pic.

You keep your fricking head up and wrap up? You lead with your head your going to fricking break your neck.

So you still lead with your head in your scenario right? When you said leading with the head you meant he ducked his head? Yeah, that's different. We were always taught to put your facemask in his chest and wrap up.

Oh I totally understand. I am pretty sure the rules state that you can't not lead with your helmet however. This is the same guy that lead with his helmet on the hit against JJ.
