The Arizona Diamondbacks are selling the D-Bat Dog -- an 18-inch corn dog stuffed with cheddar cheese, jalapenos and bacon, served with a side of fries -- for $25.

That realistically could feed 2 at $12.50, so right in line with normal ballpark meals

$25 for that? I'd rather get a steak dinner for that price. I'm going to a game in May, I'll see if I can find one while I'm there.

What ballpark are you buying that steak at?

Better yet, what restaraunt are you buying a $25 steak at?

BOOMSTICK!, Sections 16, 44: The exclamation point seems appropriate. Head here for the 24" hot dog with chili, cheese, grilled onions, and jalapenos

Saw someone eating this one time. It was pretty gross looking. Probably wouldn't have looked that bad if it wasn't 2 feet long.

I wouldn't pay $25 to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks play.

And honestly I wouldn't pay $25 to see most baseball teams play, so no I'd never get this 2ft long corndog.

My buddy attempted to eat one of those when we went to a game the day before lsu vs tcu. He did not finish it, and it was the messiest ive seen a person look eating a meal. He was hammered so he did not lose of of his dignity that night.

Same thing happened to the guy I saw eating his. A lady sitting next to him must have thought the same thing as she was compelled to give him a plastic fork.

Ok, so you don't like baseball. That really has nothing to do with this thread.

18 inches = 1 and a half feet. Not 2 feet.

Corn dog looks awesome. IWEI.

I think it's understood that people generally splurge at baseball games.

And I would eat this.

i'd say there is a line between splurging/understanding you have to pay extra because you are at a ballpark and paying $25 for that.

I mean thats pretty absurd.

Except on beer. frick the $8.50 (or whatever it is) for shitty beer.

The hot dogs at comerica for, I think, $6 are actually pretty good.
