Ball Family piece on Sportscenter

I gotta say, after watching this, I've made a 180 on my opinion on LeVar Ball. He's uber confident in his kids being successful, involved in their lives 24/7, developed a competitive mentality in these kids.
Not to mention they're are well spoken, well behaved kids. This honestly is no different than the Manning Family, just more bombastic

That's a pretty damn good comparison. It doesn't exclude them form being douchebags either.

Pretty good comparison. Honestly, the majority of people wouldn't even know about this family outside of Lonzo if they were raised in the same era as the Mannings. The dad is obnoxious, but it's a lot easier to realize someone is obnoxious when every move your kids make is documented on social media.
And yeah, even if you don't like the dad, you can't really argue with the results. He's definitely setting his kids up for success

Lonzo has been a ball hawk at ucla and has a lebron like knack for swatting guys on fast breaks.
lonzo was a 5 star prospect out of high school and will be one of the top 2 or 3 players drafted this summer.
His 2 younger brothers aren't regarded nearly as well as him, liangelo is only a 3 star player. Chino plays the run and gun style and neither play any defense, especially lamelo. You gotta give lavar credit because without him nobody would know who the hell liangelo and lamelo are, yet they both already have scholarships to ucla.

It basically comes down to someone whose very outspoken which can rub people the wrong way, but at the end of the day it's a dad who only cares about his kids and has used basketball as a way to bond as a family. I will never see the problem with that even if he says stupid shite from time to time

Yeah, no problem with LeVar being a super dad, but he goes about it in a douchey way IMO. I doubt he gives two shits about what I think though, nor should he.
