Man it's got to suck for those teams that are relatively stacked but their core players are in the middle/past the middle of their primes.
Clips probably thought they'd be right in the mix for at least the next few years. It'll be at least a couple years before GS's roster needs to be overhauled and their stranglehold on the league loosens.
Injuries or mismanagement are the only thing stopping GS (in the west) until at least 2018.

You are missing something.
This means more minutes for Lance Stephenson, and more on the court time for a not-that-young Chris Paul.
They're going to probably ride him into the ground before the playoffs now, and are a great candidate for a first round playoff loss.
