Hoping to get some help on driver shafts from the some of you guys that know a lot on here. What are some good (and reasonably prices) shafts that offer a lower spin rate and launch angle than say a stock RBZ shaft? From what I've read, the stock shaft gives much more spin, sending the ball flight soaring.

Anything off the top of y'all's heads that could help? Appreciate it, fellas.

Any 60 gram Stiff flex should work IMO

Shafts are not my forté...BP may know more...I never really got into shafts.

As long as it is the right length, stiffness, weight, kick point, and torque to suit your game, I don't see any other reason to spend $500 on a shaft.

I believe I've hit the adila rip and liked it. I'll check it out.

Y'all have already helped. Thanks again.

Sorry if its a big picture.

Pick out what you want the shaft to do. If you want to launch it high, than one of the shafts at the top of the chart would be best. If you want to hit it lower, chose one in the bottom. Once you figure it out, google any or all of the shafts in that range.

Perfect. Thanks a lot man. I saw charts like that on old forums when I searched google, but figure they might be a little out dated.

Also, is it hard to put the RBZ tip on a shaft? Or should I try and buy one that has it on already or get a golf shop to put it on?

This would be a decent one. I think it has a mid launch profile. The Mitsubishi Diamana 'Ahina would be lower launching than the aldilla.

The Phenom is legit. Go to a demo day and hit as many shafts as possible.

Go buy a new tip, they do not transfer very well as the tent to get deformed when pulling them off the old shaft.

I found a new one on eBay I'm looking at. It was on the chart BP posted and was right in the area I want.

Thanks again, fellas. Much appreciated.

Slight hijack. The shaft on my 7 iron can be turned fully in the hozzle and the head wobbles a bit. How does one fix this/get this fixed?

Needs to be pulled and re-epoxied

You might want to stay away from hitting that club. Unless you want to see the head flying down the fairway
