When is Minneapolis super bowl?

Their new stadium might be my favorite in the league - architecturally it's up there with Superdome - both are jewels of their respective city's skylines. Barclays center in Brooklyn and the sprint center in downtown Kc are two of the better arenas

And it was considered by media members as still one of their favorite times at a SB ever. It was extremely successful. no one cares about that shite but trolls on TD.

Except it's the best site to host a super bowl. People love it for the food drinking and historical aspects.

I've even heard national pundits say it should be the permanent site.

Sorry. I'm talking about new Orleans.

someone said alternate between miami and new orleans

NO will MAYBE get one more, and then that will be it.

The NFL rewards cities for building new stadiums, and NO has to get with the program.

Atlanta will do well as a host. New stadium, has good night life, etc. I had a great time there. Anyone saying it'll suck is just being ridiculous.

But y'all need to stop with the power outage shite. Even with that there's no denying it's the best host city, just based on its proximity to everything and most things in walking distance + weather, food, etc.

Still can't believe this is happening.

Outside of Houston's random bid for 2017, every other host is based on a brand new or heavily remodeled stadium, which sucks for traditional cities like New Orleans. Miami and LA are traditional hosts, but they're getting it because of stadiums more than anything else.

I had a terrible time in Atlanta when I went for the Carolina game last year. I felt scared for my life when I was leaving. The presence of "thugs" was very much overwhelming. The stadium itself was pretty terrible on the inside. I'm glad they're getting a new one, I just wish there was another location available for it.

Well, they should've paid the power bill before the biggest game in the world.

Great. The Atlanta Olympics were the WOAT.

US government needs to stop propping up this shithole.

I'd rather go to fricking Kabul.

+1

I laugh at those who brush it off. Something like that happens and there will be consequences pertaining to future SB's.

I once took a flight to Atlanta

After arriving in the city, I wished my plane was hijacked by terrorists

Last year, New Orleans had 164 murders. Atlanta had 95, even though it's a larger city.

The proximity of the dangerous areas to the stadium and its patrons are a bit different though. Not sure how that is deniable.

I fully believe that.

Reading the OT Lounge would terrify me if I had to move to New Orleans.

If it was such a problem, why would the NFL invite NOLA to bid on these super bowls? And why would they be in a final vote with cities boasting brand new stadiums?

Atlanta, New Orleans, Miami and Tampa Bay were the four cities bidding to host Super Bowl LIII. Miami and Tampa Bay were eliminated after the second round of voting. When neither Atlanta nor New Orleans got 75 percent of the vote on the third ballot, only a majority was needed on the final ballot. So obviously less than 75% of the owners didn't agree that Atlanta was the obvious choice.

BTW...LA got 75% on the first vote.
