-Man, that was a tough one. I'm already sick of hearing about that play call. I can't imagine the next year. Bye bye local Seahawks radio. I like Bevell as an OC, but I don't know if he will ever be forgiven for that.

-I'd imagine that Seahawks haters couldn't have drawn it up any better.

-What an awesome game if you were a neutral fan. Crazy finish.

-Richard Sherman deserves whatever crap gets thrown his way for calling Revis out like that. Sherman had an awesome game and dominated the last half of the season, but Revis I'd getting that ring.

-Bruce Irvin has always been a punk and a hot head. Didn't surprise me in the least to see him be a poor sport at the end there and get thrown out.

-The Patriots played awesome. Death by 1000 cuts is exactly the same strategy that the Chargers used earlier this year and they executed it to perfection.

-That Lane injury really hurt. Simon was brutal out there.

-Still an awesome season and I'll never forget being at that NFC Championship Game. It's a young team overall and pretty much everybody is returning. I saw that we are already favored to win it all next year, so next season can't get here soon enough. It's going to be a fun few years here, but that one will always linger.

-Peej, I was counting on you and you let me down. Why did today have to be the day that the blind squirrel found the nut?

Yep. I can actually (somewhat) understand the decision to pass. It's 2nd down and you only have 1 TO left so 2nd down was the time to try a pass.

But, damn, try a fade. Pete Carroll must be a member here and realizes everybody bitches about the fade.

For another perspective on the turning point, when Jermaine Kearse dropped that pass down deep in the Patriots field in the latter part of the 3rd q, I thought uh oh, these are the things that come back and haunt you.

No kidding. The only somewhat acceptable pass in that situation would have been a rollout with a run/pass option. It would have allowed a very easy read for either a running or passing TD or a throwaway.

I agree, the LOB is intact and the only dead money really is Percy Harvin.

Byron Maxwell
Malcolm Smith
James Carpenter
Jermaine Kearse

are the only really big players I see that need a contract and 25.01mil in cap space.

2016 will be an interesting one though:
Okung, Wilson, Lynch, Miller, Wagner, Irvin, and a few handful players that might make a larger impact next year (Matthews, Lane, Turbin), but they have 72.7mil currently free to spend.

That was a big missed opportunity, but I can't blame Kearse for that one. On the replay it showed that the defender had his right arm just enough to cause the incomplete on. It was a good defensive play.

Either the rollout or a fade where only the WR has a chance.
