So where does Briles coach next, if at all? He's 60, never lived outside Texas, but obviously can still ball. Is he too toxic in today's college environment or will he be given another shot? Serious question.

I saw some idiot on Twitter saying he'll be the next coach at LSU in 180 days.

I just closed the app.

I'll bet he's the head coach for Baylor for the beginning of the 2017 season.

That ship has sailed. Baylor people think he'll be offered the UT or LSU jobs after Strong and Miles are done, when/if that happens.

I know Briles and his family casually. You just knew something like this would happen eventually. First met him when he was HC at UH. They were all afraid he'd be fired that year because the AD couldn't stand him. Ended up with a good year and got an extension before jumping to BU. I never followed Houston but did read fairly recently that there were player problems there as well.

Jesus christ I've never seen a group of idiots like those people before.

The Baylor bubble is the most clique group University supporters I've ever met. You have no idea how many of my friends/pledge bros that I've talked to truly think that UT/A&M/TCU are the ones who brought along this shite storm.

I hear you. My daughter in law is a Baylor alum. Little bubble, most are clueless about what goes on outside Waco. Too much success too fast, weren't prepared to handle it.

If lsu's president is worried about the perception of just firing les miles there is no way he will bring in briles. Zero percent chance briles ever coaches at lsu.

Give it 3-5 years he'll probably resurface as a OC at a small school or maybe the CFL or Arena League

He's got as much money as he needs, if he doesn't spend it all on legal fees going forward. Best estimate on his settlement is $8MM and that on top of big money over the past 9 years.

The guy is a high school legend coach in the state bet he ends up at another one in West Texas.

Over the course of the next few years, all the vile details Baylor and PH tried to hide by not having a full written report will come out, because of all of the lawsuits. Folks in Waco will go from worshipping Briles, to hating him. After the Big 12 breaks up, and no legit conference wants Baylor because of its scandalous history, I would worry about the personal safety of Briles at the hands of these volatile Baptists.

Didn't Briles drop his lawsuit? Who else is suing?

They'll form some shittier, knock-off version of the Big 12. Oklahoma and Kansas will be snatched up by one of the big conferences.

TCU, Baylor, Tech, Houston, Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, maybe Memphis, Cincinnati, will form some shite conference.

Lol, well that's unlikely.

Texas and Texas Tech, just like KU, K-state and OU and OSU are all package deals.

No conference is going to get one without taking the other.
