Didn't he sign because the Pats signed someone else? A little different

Yeah.

A. He left the damn Patriots... the best run team of this era.
B. He got offered more money by the Broncos.

It wasn't a "can't beat em, join em" situation.

Could have just linked KDs tweet criticizing " Superteams" in 2010:

" Now everybody wanna play with the Heat & the Lakers? Let's go back to being competive & going at these people!"- Durant

Amusing that he's talking about being competive & going at someone when his team loses a 3-1 lead to a record breaking team & he actually joins them.

Shaq would never seriously considered going to play with the 72 win Bulls

You need to understand gentlemen the "everyone gets a trophy" crowd is looking for anything to defend their poster child Kevin Durant. A large part of the viewing public in this country are soft as tissue paper and KD's move is tailor made for their ilk. ESPN has already begun their love fest with Durant, the KD crowd is taping all of the ESPN shows and reveling in their victory while getting their sports opinions from The Undefeated and The Six. Keep up the fight against these cupcakes though it's a worthy cause, there are still a few men left who expect more out of their sports figures.

I like the part where Talib calls Durant a "suburban kid". I looked up the town where Talib went to HS and it's 75% white, 12% Asian, and only 6% black. It's literally described as:

quote:

Richardson is an affluent inner suburb of Dallas

And then he went to college in fricking Kansas.

Granted he was born in Cleveland, but he was 12 when he moved to Texas. Dude hasn't been in an inner city since he was a pre-teen, you were never on "the streets"
