Please don't let this mean they'll be a rematch.

Rematch won't happen because it won't generate this kind of money. Both fighters will retire soon, May after his next fight against a no body to keep his record intact, and Manny now to focus on his country.

He was hurt when he agreed to the fight (Only reason mayweather agreed)

an anti-inflammatory shot as reported in a joint the morning of, will not help the injury. maybe a lidocaine shot or toradol to help the pain could but not anti-inflammatory

This fight was nothing but a quick money grab before retiring. Yet the entire public fell for it. This fight should have happened years ago. Yet out of nowhere they agree to a fight, with the quickness, after years of avoiding the fight. Mayweather is a weasel. Should have known that sketchy scumbag wasn't going to fight anyone he know he couldn't beat. He is like a casino, always assuring he comes out on top. frick that dude

Manny isn't the same fighter he was at his pinnacle in 07..... Dude is just coasting for a payday to help his financial situation and he got it. watching clips from the fight this is not the same fighter that TKO'd Cotto

It's always convenient when injuries are reported after the fact, especially when unlike many other sports, there isn't a competitive game/match leading up to the championship When a lingering injury to a football player or basketball player gets reported, it seems more reasonable (like Peyton Manning this year).

This just comes off as another person refusing to take responsibility for the loss and instead blaming it on something external after the fact. Add to the fact, that he thought he has "won" and Pacquio really looked like a outmanned boxer and sore loser.
