As a LSU fan, of course I am biased as to those events, but certainly players/fans on both sides acted extremely poorly. All that I can go by factually is Skip's responses, and he made those comments at booster club meetings over the following summer. As to who threw the first "punch", that is not really relevant. Tensions were off the charts & I was simply explaining, from a LSU perspective, why I & a lot of long time LSU fans will never pull for ULLL. Much like your older fans will never pull for LSU.

She has been to quite of few of our home games recently, and even threw out the first pitch at a game last year. My family and I sat behind her when we hosted the super regional last season as well, and she was really excited to be there. Whether the plaque is put back up or not, the school has done more than enough to welcome her back with open arms.

Exactly, and most fans understood why Yvette left.
But none of that is going to matter to those who seem completely butt-hurt at the mere mention of the "insignificant directional school".
