or an induction?

My dad took me to Canton when I was in the 8th grade, about 15 years ago I was amazed at how big it was. I thought about making the trip again when Marino was inducted to the hall of fame(my favorite player) but I never got the time.

Anybody know how difficult it is to get tickets to an induction and HOF game these days?

I went about 10 years ago, it was pretty nice, although I didn't go to an induction.

Went about 5 years ago, first visit there. Really impressed with the displays there, don't know how much has changed since then though.

probably depends what you like more. if you like football, it'd probably be better than the baseball hall of fame.

To me, NFL is much better than MLB, so I think I'd enjoy NFL hall of fame more.

I went to the induction ceremony when the Saints played in the HOF preseason game.

Loved seeing an entire room dedicated to Hurricane Katrina and the Saints.

I'm not exactly sure this is true. I like football a little more than baseball but if given the choice b/w Canton and Cooperstown, I'd take Cooperstown in a second. I think there's just a great mystique in baseball lore and baseball has an incredibly rich history that is unmatched by the NFL or any other sport IMHO.

Not shittin on the history of the NFL by any means; I think baseball is just that special in this regard.

We were there 2 years ago and it was great. Cooperstown has the small town atmosphere that Canton doesn't though. Went to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1980

cooperstown definitely is a nicer town, however I'd much rather see the football hall of fame than the baseball one as I think that might be the only thing more boring than watching baseball itself

It's on my to-do list.

Canton is not the most ideal of locations for heavy visitation. I suppose if you're in Cleveland or Akron you can go take a stroll but unless your favorite player is going to be inducted and you're going to celebrate him, you usually don't find yourself in the area.

Cleveland is 2 hours SW of Niagara Falls. Went to the falls, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and an hour south to Canton. Saw Thurman Munson Blvd. That meant a lot to me and my wife who are of the gneration of the Captain of the Yankees.

I've been there twice. Nothing really special, imo.

Never been to an induction but I do go every year to watch the state high school finals with my dad.
I have always been more of a fan of baseball so I really want to go to Cooperstown..but I promised my self I wouldn't go until Charlie Hustle was inducted..so it looks like I might never go

I've never been. If I could only go to one in my lifetime, I'd love to go to Cooperstown if I had to make the choice between the two.
