The NFL is as bad as girls gossiping. It's all about drama. I suppose that is really the media, but we know the league influences all of that crap. All we hear about is The Anthem BS, domestic violence, concussions, etc. The product on the field seems secondary.

The only thing that sucks is the Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday night games. They should at least use sunday or monday night and put the best game of the week on every week, instead of pre setting the order every year.

Almost unwatchable. Just a boring product. That and the "shield" makes it so sterile its just not that exciting.

Well, they also didn't have Brady for the first four weeks. But the loss of Manning can't be overstated. He attracted so many fans that normally wouldn't follow football outside of their local teams. When Manning retired, they lost a lot of fans.

It really is noticeably shitty this year. I can't tell you why other than quality is way bad. Lack of QB's would be my guess

Things are cyclical and there are peaks and valleys. The NFL just came of a popularity-high over the last 2-3 seasons and now there is some slight regression to the mean.
