Probably not. I drove through I-20 from Dallas to Atlanta with my family and Mississippi was pretty damn scary. The quality of the interstate was shite and Jackson seemed dead.
There are amazing places to live in almost every state (and other countries). If you are open to live anywhere, then definitely try to find a good place to live (expenses will be probably be fairly high) that meets all of your requirements and wants.

Well, we are looking to stay in the States. I've gotten good suggestions from people like yourself. Personally, I am hearing a lot of good things about Minnesota. I need to sell my wife on it more, but I really like what it has to offer.
