Sure. As of right now I would still favor GS in the West.

It is unreal how 2 or 3 poorly played games in the Finals shapes people's opinion of the Warriors

Yep, Cavs have a drastically easier path. Western Conference is going to be so difficult to navigate next year.

GS is tough, but I like WingStop (Kawhilights/Gr33n) to contain the Splash Bros as well as anyone can.

Would be a great series if we matched up with them again, IMO. 2013 semis were a barnburner

I would think with LMA and Duncan they will run the offense they used with Bowen and crew.

That could work.

Just have LMAO take those midrange J's instead of Timmy.

RC deserves a raise for keeping these guys together AND getting Aldridge

If you put Aldridge at the high, you give him option to step out or drive. Timmy would basically be a skinnier Admiral and be the low. Problem is you switch out West with either it's a defensive liability somewhere. That's why Livio is so important.

They could run the Euro double High like they did with Splitter but I don't see it yet, because Alderidge has never been in a system like that.

Cavs have a better supporting cast as well with Mozgov, Thompson, Shumpert, Dellavadova, and Jones over Dead legs Parker, Has been Ginobli, And Green.

Pretty sure the Heat were still favorites that year

Lakers and Heat had the same odds according to Vegas:

But most fans were crowning the Lakers before the season started.

great, more boring basketball

lol

Beautiful passing, efficient shooting, balanced scoring, veteran presences.

But I guess watching LeBron isolation and endless drive and kicks to rag tag three- point shooters is way more entertaining.

As the season got closer the odds changed and Miami was a slight favorite.

This is obviously a much different situation than the 2013 lakers though, not really comparable.

the Spurs might be 2nd best team in their fricking state, much less the entire Western Conference.... i'd still have Golden State up there, and Dallas will be much improved now too...

in short, i don't think they are that much better just landing Aldridge.... age is starting to become a factor for their core elements....
