First Harden, now Beverley, nice seeing some guys with heart still exist

quote:

"I think that's bulls---," Beverley said after the Rockets' 137-125 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. "I think that's a disgrace to this league. I think that fans deserve better.

quote:

"I could care less about coaches asking players to rest or not. It's up to you to play or not, and if you don't, you're disrespecting the game. And I don't believe in disrespecting the game, because there was a time where I wasn't playing in the NBA and I was trying to get here. So me resting, I feel like, is disrespecting me, disrespecting the name on the front of the jersey and disrespecting the name on the back of the jersey."

quote:

"We understand that it's tough," Beverley said. "We understand that you can't play all 82, trust me, with injuries and all that. But if you're feeling OK -- a lot of people have been banged up, but if you're feeling OK, then you should play. That's what you get paid for. That's what fans deserve. The fans definitely deserve that. That's what the city deserves.

LeBron James has played more regular season games in 11 of his 12 82 game seasons than Beverly has played in his any season of his career.

in fact. Beverly's 2nd most games played in his career would be the least amount of games LeBron has ever played in a regular season. (including the strike shortened season)

and LeBron averages 10.5 more minutes per game over his career than Beverly

so yeah, that dude is an idiot

and who pays lebron's salary? Is it not fans paying for overpriced seats to watch LeDiva play? So screw over the people who pay to watch you? Sounds like a great plan.

Lebron's a big puss. And I'd tell him that to his face.

who pays LeBron's salary?

The TV networks.

and they have committed that money over the life of his contract. In fact, their money is how his salary was calculated.

(also nice job on sidestepping Beverly being a hypocrite)

For the love of god...please nobody engage this dude. He's trolling and most likely doesn't believe anything he says in his thread.

Well Michael Jordan sure does and the quote above says it all, as an owner, he doesn't believe in rest. He knows a tad more than LeBron does, remember he's got 6 titles, twice as many as LeBron?

all sports teams rest players at the end of the year if their team is in the playoffs ...

That's why Jordan and Kobe never sat out while healthy? Gamers don't rest when healthy, again Lebron can rest all he wants. The playoffs are tough out east, he's gotta get through the celtics, wizards, hawks, bucks, heat, pacers and raptors. Im just kinda shocked with all the rest, his team is still 4 wins behind the rockets and the rockets haven't added a ton of bought out ex lottery picks.

Michael's been to the playoffs, what twice in the weak East as an owner? Titles has 0 to do with basketball intellect. One of the best football players in the NW when I was in HS had an IQ slightly above my granite countertops.

That's one thing that drives me crazy about the MSB. LeBron makes cool passes, so he has a great bball IQ.
